"Yes, it’s an odd feeling to sit with your guitar, the piano or the drums in my room and suddenly think that this will be released all over the world. It’s a bit strange as I’ve done this all my life.."
It was one of those boring afternoons when I went to YouTube and looked for new videos. I was actually searching for a song called Boys Don't Cry. At that time, I didn't know who sang it. (Now I know it was Plumb). Anyway, the first four videos were from The Cure and the fifth was from Ulrik. Thinking that it was a cover of the song I was looking for, I opened the link. I was wrong. But I was glad I opened it.
Wow.
That was the first word that came out from my mouth when I heard the song. It was so amazing that I didn't think twice in adding it to my favorites, subscribing to his channel and downloading the song.
Go check this out and you'll see what I mean.
Oh, and by the way, here's what I learned from Google. Ulrik started to write songs when he was 13 years old. When he was fifteen, he won the Melody Grand Prix Nordic with his own song An Ordinary Day. The year after, he came in second in Metro Music Challenge with his own composition Life.
